What does the Rwanda placement offer?
This working holiday provides two different placements giving the opportunity for people to live in Rwanda over a period of four weeks whilst either transcribing the testimonies of survivors of the Rwandan genocide, or teaching English and Maths. Volunteers will stay in either the Solace Ministries campus in Kigali, or in the Avega Centre, 45 minutes from Kigali.
Designed for career breakers and those who are interested in the development field (aged 25 or over who have at least a basic command of the French language), this working holiday offers the chance to make a positive contribution to the lives of those affected by the atrocities committed in recent times in Rwanda.
