Where will I be based?
Volunteers will stay at either the Solace Ministries campus in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, or in Avega’s Centre in the Eastern region (45 minutes from Kigali). Both of these provide basic yet comfortable facilities. Volunteers can pay an extra fee if they would prefer a single room rather than the usual shared room.
Although religious in nature, volunteers at the Solace Ministries accommodation are not obliged to participate in the religious services on this campus (although these can be interesting and insightful experiences!).
