How much does it cost?
‘Working Holidays in Rwanda’ is made possible through the generosity and commitment of the host organisations that organise the placements.
The cost of the 4-week placement:
Shared room £1300 (£200 a week + a £500 donation)
Single room £1500 (£250 a week + a £500 donation
(The £500 donation goes to SURF Survivors’ Fund in Rwanda (www.survivors-fund.org.uk) and Avega – Agahozo, Association of Genocide Widows (www.avega.org.rw) and should be gift aided. This involves no extra cost for the participant, but means ‘Working Holidays Abroad’ can recover tax and thus keep prices low)
Payment in full is required at least one month in advance of the placement start date. This amount is non-refundable in the event of cancellation; participants are advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover these costs should it be necessary to cancel.
